Happy New Year from Capstone – 2018 Charity Survey Results

Happy New Year! Last year we asked you to help us give back by voting for your favorite charity. We are very excited to announce the results from the survey and have made a contribution to each of the charities in proportion to your selection.

Each of the charities noted above have made a significant impact in our own communities and in those of our clients and friends.

  • So Others Might Eat (SOME) is an interfaith, community-based organization that helps the poor and homeless of our nation’s capital. Capstone employees have volunteered with SOME to meet the needs of the 6,904 people experiencing homelessness in our own backyard.
  • Immanuel is a nonprofit senior living community and one of Capstone’s clients. Immanuel is dedicated to dignity, safety, and wellness for all. When a large nursing home in Nebraska went bankrupt leaving 1,500 senior residents and 1,650 employees stranded, Immanuel stepped in to support the local community by contributing $250,000 through its Immanuel Vision Foundation and making arrangements for deliveries of food and supplies for residents.
  • The Red Cross plays a crucial role in providing aid to many of our clients and their communities, including those affected by Hurricane Harvey in Houston, Hurricane Michael in Florida, and the fires in California.

As we enter into 2019 let’s not forget the charitable season, but continue to help people, companies, and communities grow.  We wish all of you happiness, prosperity, and health in 2019.
